Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May 18, 2026 or June 15, 2026, depending on academic calendar.

Requirements

Must be graduating by June 2028 or earlier, pursuing a degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Policy, or a related field
Ability to work in and navigate a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Strong analytical, logical, problem‑solving, consultative, communication, and decision‑making skills.
Ability to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and escalate issues as appropriate
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with state and federal regulations, and how to explain them to others.
Knowledge of finance, consumer protection, or technology‑related laws.
Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and how they intersect with compliance and risk management.
Communication and Presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the design and documentation of AI governance processes for internal and product‑related use cases.
Supporting coordination across Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and Procurement to understand control design and risk ownership.
Helping assess AI‑enabled or technology-driven use cases to identify potential compliance, privacy, and operational risks
Escalating higher‑risk use cases to ensure appropriate controls are in place or risks are formally accepted prior to implementation
Supporting documentation, tracking, and communication related to governance decisions and compliance requirements
