Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May 18, 2026 or June 15, 2026, depending on academic calendar.

Requirements

  • Must be graduating by June 2028 or earlier, pursuing a degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Policy, or a related field
  • Ability to work in and navigate a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Strong analytical, logical, problem‑solving, consultative, communication, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations, and how to explain them to others.
  • Knowledge of finance, consumer protection, or technology‑related laws.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and how they intersect with compliance and risk management.
  • Communication and Presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the design and documentation of AI governance processes for internal and product‑related use cases.
  • Supporting coordination across Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and Procurement to understand control design and risk ownership.
  • Helping assess AI‑enabled or technology-driven use cases to identify potential compliance, privacy, and operational risks
  • Escalating higher‑risk use cases to ensure appropriate controls are in place or risks are formally accepted prior to implementation
  • Supporting documentation, tracking, and communication related to governance decisions and compliance requirements
