About The Position

CAMS (Community Association Management Services), part of the Associa family, is a rapidly expanding community association management company in the southeastern US. They are looking for an experienced part-time Community Compliance Inspector to conduct on-site property inspections at a Master Homeowner Association in Columbia, SC. The role involves performing driven inspections across all community areas to ensure compliance with Governing documents. The inspector is responsible for communicating and monitoring deed restriction infractions. Key attributes for this role include excellent organizational and observational skills, attention to detail, strong follow-up abilities, knowledge of Association governing documents, efficiency in handling multiple tasks, and comfort with tablet software.

Reliable transportation and proof of valid insurance and registration.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

The inspector will work inside (20%) and outside (80%) of the office.
Drive throughout the community and inspect the property and common areas. (Inspecting the common areas may include exiting the vehicle).
Investigate any complaints and respond as directed.
Note and record all new violations and update the status of existing violations.
Maintain data and Update violations via a tablet or smartphone or computer.
Communicate with the manager, other employees or clients.
Produce Reports as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
