The Corporate Compliance Officer/Privacy Officer (CCO/PO) reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and the SVP/Executive Deputy Counsel. CCO/PO is responsible for developing and overseeing an integrated, network-wide compliance and privacy program to support Acacia Network and its Affiliates. The CCO/PO is responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance program is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position is dedicated to leading a compliance program that serves the needs of a growing network of organizations, which are committed to promoting the health of all individuals. The CCO/PO must have a strong working knowledge of federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards. The CCO/PO should possess knowledge of compliance standards and policies, audit techniques, regulatory issues, operations and procedures as they relate to Acacia Network. Ideal candidates for this growth opportunity, will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public health or equivalent, a Juris Doctorate is preferred. Eight years of substantial healthcare and progressive compliance experience in healthcare with prior experience in a health system or complex integrated healthcare delivery system is strongly preferred. Certification in Healthcare Compliance is preferred.
