We're seeking a future team member for the role of Compliance Ethics & Governance Director to join our Compliance team. This role is located in New York. - HYBRID.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • MBA, JD or professional certification preferred.
  • 12-15 years of total work experience, with 3-5 years of management experience, preferred.
  • Financial Services, Audit or Compliance background and/or experience with financial services compliance and/or experience with the assigned products, services or business lines/areas and the pertaining laws, regulations and rules of relevant regulators preferred.
  • Manages teams of professional staff and more junior managers across multiple regions/jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Ethics & Conduct Compliance team
  • Lead financial and business planning for Compliance function
  • Lead continuous improvement of the Compliance Risk Management reporting and metrics
  • Lead Compliance and Ethics Oversight Committee
  • Lead Compliance regulatory and audit engagement
  • Support Compliance Issues Management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, and Compliance Policies, among other Compliance Governance team activities
  • Support and/or lead strategic Compliance programs and initiatives, as requested by the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer
  • Partner with Engineering to develop and enhance Compliance technology solutions
  • Manage professional staff across multiple regions/jurisdictions
  • Use strong influence and experience within the specialty area of expertise to increase the likelihood that compliance strategy changes are appropriately implemented in a timely manner by the regional/jurisdictional business units.
