About The Position

The Product Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all FBIN products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements. This role involves developing and implementing compliance strategies, organizing third party product testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of product safety and quality. May require occasional travel for audits, testing, or regulatory meetings.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for compliance standards for various FBIN Products.
Support FBIN NPD Projects, with compliance requirements, certification testing, listing to enable launch of products in a timely manner.
Stay up to date and advise the organization on compliance with international, federal, and local regulations (e.g., FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH)
Organize third-party product testing to verify compliance with safety and performance standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, test results, and certifications.
Utilize PLM software to capture key compliance documentation and link to specific product.
Work closely with R&D, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development and lifecycle management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product compliance and safety.
Establish and manage standardized procedures for addressing customer inquiries, offering clear technical support and guidance on compliance-related matters.
Support internal and external audits, including supplier compliance evaluations.
Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams on compliance standards and best practices as needed.
