Position Summary The Compliance Coordinator for Florida operations ensures regulatory adherence across retail, cultivation, and processing sectors. This role demands practical knowledge of Florida’s medical cannabis laws under Section 381.986, F.S., and the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) rules, along with experience in submitting, monitoring, or interpreting Variance Requests. A strong understanding of cannabis operations in cultivation, processing, and retail is also crucial. Serving as a key link between the Compliance team and Operations leadership, this role ensures that compliance-driven decisions align with operational realities and that operational requests are accurately represented in regulatory filings. The position also involves technical writing, SOP creation, audit responses, and coordinating regulatory corrective actions. This is a high-impact role that demands strong writing skills, critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively across multiple facilities and with various departments.
