About The Position

As a Compliance Coordinator in the COE Diligence team, you will carry out diligence on clients to inform decision making on who the firm serves. Your primary focus will be on the Americas region, where you will identify, clear, and escalate red flags as appropriate. You will play a crucial role in evolving and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm's diligence processes while supporting compliance with relevant firm policies, systems, and processes. Your responsibilities will include synthesizing multiple sources of data to provide actionable guidance, developing contextualized reports, and collaborating with colleagues to inform due diligence discussions. Over time, you will be expected to develop a nuanced understanding of economic, geographic, and political issues impacting the firm's engagements, serving as a valued source of advice on diligence approaches for specific sectors and clients.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen due to confidentiality of reporting in the role.
  • 3+ years of professional experience including 2 years in due diligence.
  • Experience in risk management and compliance is a plus.
  • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills.
  • Experience working with third-party tools for diligence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in or aptitude for mastering risk-related data sets and technology solutions.
  • Experience in multiple Americas geographies; experience in other emerging economies is helpful.
  • Strong personal presence and credibility with the ability to work across all levels of seniority.
  • Experience undertaking complex research independently and efficiently.

  • Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Demonstrable intellectual curiosity through professional training or advanced degree.
