The Compliance Business Oversight Manager - Compliance Exam Management and Governance will manage and/or assist Compliance with regulatory reviews including inquiries, audits, and exams. This role will also be responsible for Compliance governance reporting and ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements for credit cards, unsecured lending and residential lending and advanced knowledge of a variety of products and services, systems, and compliance advisory standards, procedures, laws, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in compliance or related field.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for credit cards, unsecured lending, and residential lending.
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of products and services, systems, and compliance advisory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations while helping design and implement a forward-thinking compliance program.
  • Provide advice, support and objective guidance to assigned portfolio, business or function on development and maintenance of Compliance programs.
  • Work independently and be accountable for managing a specialized Compliance function or area.
  • Provide comprehensive coverage for a significant business or functional area across all legal entities and jurisdictions.
  • Provide advanced analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners.
  • Manage/assist with regulatory reviews including inquiries, audits, and exams.
  • Identify and lead problem resolution for project/program complex requirements related issues.
  • Proactively advise the business of new and changed Compliance regulatory and/or policy changes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Compliance programs.
  • Prepare summaries, presentations, briefing notes, and any other required documentation.
  • Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level.
  • Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines.
