RESPONSIBLE FOR: The Compliance Auditor, Home Health & Hospice, is responsible for conducting risk-based audits focused on documentation integrity, medical necessity, and regulatory compliance for home health and hospice services. This role also supports the Piedmont’s Compliance Program by identifying areas of risk, leading investigations, and delivering targeted education to mitigate future compliance vulnerabilities. #LI-POST #GD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; associate's Degree in nursing or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare auditing or coding, with a focus on home health and hospice
  • Licensure is required commensurate with corresponding clinical degree (i.e. RN licensure is required with a nursing degree).
  • Knowledge of health care regulations and clinical terminology.
  • High-level knowledge of auditing techniques and standards for home health & hospice
