About The Position

Overview Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Compliance Analyst at the corporate office in Hanover, MD. Compensation: $45k ($21.63/hr) + $4k bonus Job Summary: The Compliance Analyst (Aviation) is responsible for working with the Aviation Compliance Department in the management of Aerotek Aviation, LLC's hiring, reporting and auditing processes. The Aviation Compliance Department is tasked with managing the FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program and enforcing hiring procedures in accordance with Company policy and Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Will be able to assume the duties & responsibilities of the Compliance Analysts in their absence. Essential Functions: Handle the approval process for new hires and re-hired contractors including ensuring accuracy of paperwork, reconciling discrepancies before approval is issued, communicating approvals in accordance with department protocol and recognizing prior positives (if applicable). Reporting to ensure departmental and regulatory compliance. Auditing to ensure accuracy, compliance and uniformity. Facilitate DER and Compliance training to include initial and recurrent "Reasonable Suspicion" and compliance training. Handle outgoing and incoming DOT drug and alcohol background checks in accordance with the required deadline and departmental procedures. Manage FAA/DOT random testing process and ensure random testing rates set forth by ODAPC are met. This includes identifying active safety sensitive contractors, random selection, gathering of paperwork, notification to DER for selected contractors, follow up and retrieval of results. Manage FAA/DOT drug and/or alcohol violations process including documenting the violation, sending the SAP letter and ensuring the contractor is pulled from assignment immediately in accordance with regulatory and departmental requirements. Enforce company policy specific to Aviation Compliance Department including consequences for non-compliance. Adhere to regulatory requirements and departmental guidelines for housing and purging records. Additional ad hoc duties to support the Aviation Compliance Department as needed.

  • AA degree or higher preferred/or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of Customer Service experience or office related experience.
