About The Position

Key Responsibilities: You’ll lead our safety program using Prisma’s 4 Pillars of Safety: Culture & Safe Behaviors. Build a strong safety culture: accountability, positive reinforcement, and consistent expectations. Hazards, Audits & Inspections Run routine hazard assessments, inspections, and audits. Track compliance and corrective actions through closure. Training (hands-on + documented) Deliver and coordinate safety training across teams. Ensure acknowledgments and documentation are complete and current. Programs, SOPs & Equipment Compliance Maintain and improve safety programs, policies, SOPs, and required equipment standards. Develop site-ready policies based on OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910) and applicable regulations. Tailor procedures to the realities of a printing plant—layout, equipment, and workflows. What success looks like: Fewer incidents and near-misses through proactive hazard identification, training, and accountability. Clean audits and fast corrective-action closure. Updated SOPs that match the plant’s equipment, layout, and workflow

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Safety/EHS/Compliance in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations.
  • Confident trainer + strong follow-through (inspections, documentation, corrective actions).
  • Practical, floor-first approach: reduce risk without slowing production.

Nice To Haves

  • Print manufacturing experience (pressroom, finishing/bindery, prepress, inks/chemicals, production workflows).
  • OSHA 30 (General Industry).
  • Forklift / MEWP, CPR/AED/BBP (or ability to obtain).
