The Compliance and Research Analyst plays a key role in ensuring regulatory alignment with the state laws and PERA rules related to member salaries, required contributions, and post-retirement employment provisions. The position focuses on compiling, verifying, and analyzing information from various sources to identify discrepancies and support process adherence to PERA law and rules. The Analyst regularly communicates with employers, retirees, members and internal teams to resolve compliance concerns, communicate resolutions or next steps, and provide clear and professional customer service to stakeholders. This role also collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to address larger membership issues, support employer audit activities and implement consistent compliance solutions.
