As a management analyst on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and analysts to identify the elements that work best in their environment and areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward with the client. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in policy and compliance, including with travel programs and procedures
  • Experience overseeing and managing temporary duty travel policy, relocation travel policy, and conference policy, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis of administrative guidance impacting travel programs and department policies, including statutes, regulations, and case laws
  • Ability to analyze and interpret guidance issued by external entities, including federal agencies such as GSA or OMB, to determine impacts on departmental policies
  • Ability to assist with updating existing policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory requirements
  • Ability to lead research initiatives and respond to complex travel policy questions submitted by stakeholders such as component travel coordinators and travelers, with clarity and accuracy

  • Experience supporting the Department of Justice
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards to support and track component compliance with key conference and cost metrics, including Power BI
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring policy and compliance goals are aligned with organizational objectives
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills, to independently manage various high-volume workloads, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery of critical projects
