About The Position

The compliance analyst will utilize industry-specific and IT knowledge to coordinate, audit, and present compliance and cybersecurity assessments for clients and vendors. The successful candidate will possess a strong balance between technical understanding regarding cybersecurity and established industry compliance frameworks.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in an IT support capacity
  • 1-3 years managing projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Adept analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems
  • A strong understanding of industry standard IT technology, such as Microsoft/Linux, Active Directory, network fundamentals, email solutions, cloud solutions, and common end-user workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred compliance experience: NIST, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI, ISO 27001
  • Preferred experience with cybersecurity solutions
  • Cybersecurity certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CompassMSP Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance and the regional Compliance Lead
  • Project manage client engagements for cybersecurity and compliance assessments
  • Integrate IT infrastructure experience into security audits
  • Audit and create client facing assessment deliverables
  • Review client information security policies and procedures
  • Assist clients with vendor security assessments
  • Work on client policies and procedures, with a focus on customizing and detailing to client's environments and workflows
  • Interface with the client directly through onsite and remote discovery
  • Work on internal quality projects, including developing standards for CompassMSP
  • Work with the Business Development team to create and present solutions for remediation efforts
  • Work with client account managers to build cybersecurity and compliance awareness across the client deck
  • Navigate through server rooms in non-standard locations that may be small, dark, and cool
  • Participate in a flexible work schedule to include occasional after hours duties as needed
