About The Position
Compliance Specialist Position Summary The Compliance Specialist supports the Bank’s Compliance Management System (CMS) and ensures adherence to applicable federal, state, and local banking regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the Bank’s regulatory standing while supporting a strong culture of compliance consistent with the mission and values of a community-focused financial institution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of compliance or regulatory experience in a bank or financial institution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and enhancement of the Compliance Management System (CMS)
- Conduct compliance monitoring and testing for applicable consumer protection regulations
- Review policies, procedures, disclosures, and marketing materials for compliance
- Support regulatory examinations and audits
- Assist with regulatory change management
- Provide compliance guidance and training support
- Maintain compliance documentation and reporting
