The Compliance Analyst I will independently conduct compliance reviews across various systems including UFIRST, myassets, myIRB, and others. The role requires a strong understanding of applicable regulations to ensure that submissions are complete and comply with agency and UF policies. The analyst will review compliance submissions to confirm that compliance requirements, such as training completion and UF role, are met. Additionally, the analyst will approve administrative changes to submissions, including personnel and title changes, as appropriate for the office. The position involves reviewing, analyzing, and approving changes to compliance documentation such as management plans and protocols. The analyst will conduct and coordinate required risk mitigation reviews of compliance activities and report any compliance issues to the relevant compliance committee or office. Maintaining confidentiality and privacy is essential in this role. The Compliance Analyst I will also maintain awareness of applicable regulations related to one compliance program and participate in relevant trainings and meetings. Familiarity with UF Research contracting, award negotiation, and financial management, including an understanding of 2 CFR 200, is necessary. The analyst will assist faculty, staff, and researchers in complying with UF policies, serving as a resource for basic compliance questions and inquiries. Furthermore, the analyst is responsible for independently maintaining compliance records, including case files, logs, and compliance calendars, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in accordance with state and federal regulations. The role includes preparing and writing documents, such as risk mitigation plans, using approved templates and routing them for review and approval by the manager, as well as routing documents for signature by department and UFR leadership.
