Responsibilities

  • Research regulations for Housing Choice Voucher Program by reviewing federal regulations and other sources.
  • Track, monitor, and maintain agency compliance for all housing programs annually.
  • Ensure a sufficient stream of participants for Housing Choice Voucher turnover to maximize program administration fees.
  • Prepare detailed summaries of audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Monitor error reports and assist employees in correcting errors in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of 50058 forms to HUD.
  • Conduct quality control file audits and inspections.
  • Prepare monthly quality control reports.
  • Assist with annual reviews of HCV Program Payment Standards and Fair Market Rents.
  • Conduct quality control audits for tenants graduating from the FSS Program.
  • Attend required trainings and provide training to staff for compliance purposes.
  • Assist in the development and updating of local administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate administrative local policies for the HCV Program in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations regarding monitoring outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to other HCV staff.
  • Ensure follow-up and resolution for findings reported by the EIV system and PIC.
  • Comply with the BVCOG Quality Control Program and perform necessary duties for compliance.
  • Ensure client files meet HUD Federal Regulations and in-house standards.
  • Compile statistical data and prepare reports related to recertification and occupancy.
  • Maintain knowledge of BVCOG and HUD policies and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Monitor assignments and maintain productivity in the department.
  • Attend training and staff meetings to enhance job performance.
  • Identify and address training needs for staff.
  • Complete and distribute required documentation and reports timely.
  • Oversee HUD policies for vouchers to ensure accurate calculations and tenant eligibility.
  • Support new employees in their adjustment during the first year of employment.
  • Analyze SEMAP reports and publish monthly performance reports.
  • Assist the Housing Manager with critical projects and reports.
