About The Position

The Parking Compliance Agent plays a key role in maintaining safe, orderly, and well-managed parking operations. This position ensures vehicles follow posted rules, provides clear and courteous customer support, and documents activity accurately while working independently in the field. The Parking Compliance Agent upholds Premium Parking’s commitment to creating great places to park through consistent monitoring, strong judgment, and professional service. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at time of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Professional appearance and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using handheld devices and basic technology (training provided).
  • Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs throughout a shift.
  • Must pass required drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local geography.
  • Familiarity with traffic hazards and safety precautions.
  • Previous parking, compliance, hospitality, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests as needed.
  • Answer questions related to parking, locations, directions, and general site information.
  • Address concerns and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.
  • Monitor streets, garages, and flat lots to ensure proper payment and adherence to posted parking rules.
  • Issue citations using a handheld device or manual ticketing process.
  • Log vehicles and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Observe parking patterns and report unauthorized parking, operational issues, or irregular activity.
  • Follow all safety procedures when working around active traffic.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and support a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Immediately report hazards, incidents, equipment issues, or suspicious activity.
  • Conduct routine walk-throughs to identify potential hazards, maintenance needs, or vandalism.
  • Ensure equipment, signage, and pay stations remain visible and in proper working condition.
  • Support peak periods, special operations, and event needs as directed
