About The Position

The Complex Manager oversees a wide range of operational and administrative tasks to ensure seamless management and success of the sanitation process. This role involves planning, developing, and implementing strategies for operational management, overseeing site expenditures, providing analysis of site usages, and ensuring compliance with all internal company procedures and policies. The Complex Manager will also serve as the main liaison with customers and government agencies, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
  • 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
  • General working knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 2-year degree from Community College/University.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management through consultation with the Site Manager and Technical Services.
  • Oversee site expenditures to ensure budgets are met.
  • Provide analysis of site usages of labor, supplies, and chemicals to ensure P&L standards are met.
  • Work with Technical Services and Workers' Compensation to determine means and methods to reduce accidents at the workplace.
  • Report on operational issues, opportunities, and improvement plans and achievements.
  • Communicate with Area Manager daily to report accidents, downtime, damage, and other important plant issues and provide action plans in response to each.
  • Complete weekly internal safety audits on staff and equipment to ensure we provide our team members with a safe work environment.
  • Set, monitor, motivate, and track specific goals for the sanitation crew regarding working safe, clean, and on time.
  • Manage and develop direct reporting staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating, and handling team member complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal company procedures and policies including Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and general customer service.
  • Serve as the main liaison with our customers and government agencies.
  • Attend sanitation meetings on behalf of the company with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate customer responsibilities required for sanitation of the facility.
  • Submit corrective actions procedures to customer when necessary to remedy issues.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure that problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Work with Human Resources, Payroll and Technical Services with any government agency matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.
