About The Position

The Complex Health Services Administrator oversees health services and makes final administrative and operational decisions for assigned sites. They manage and evaluate the Health Care Delivery Program to ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and client requirements. The role ensures that medical, dental, and mental health programs align with established goals, objectives, and approved policies and procedures. The administrator monitors the effectiveness of procedures, programs, and subcontracted services, making improvements as needed. They maintain effective communication with facility administration and act as a liaison between the facility and the corporate office.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years administrative, management and supervisory experience.
  • None required

  • Leadership experience minimum 5 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of procedures, programs, subcontracted services, and operational activities while maintaining communication with facility and corporate stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial, statistical, and operational data; create and maintain budgets and forecasts; review invoices; and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Develop, interpret, revise, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, accreditation standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, staffing, training, evaluation, licensure compliance, and enforcement of Human Resources policies for medical and administrative personnel.
  • Participate in business development activities, address grievances and legal matters, serve on facility committees, monitor hospitalizations and critical events, and travel or relocate as required by facility needs.
