About The Position

The Complex General Manager is accountable for profit and loss of two or more facilities, overseeing manufacturing aspects including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control, and meeting budgeted production metrics. This position reports to the NA Packaging Solutions General Manager and manages a direct staff including Site Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Complex Controller, and Sales Manager. Responsibilities also include local sales, customer service, and partnering with the region sales manager to establish and meet facility sales goals, identifying and targeting market segments, and deploying division pricing strategy. The role involves strategic planning, human resources management, financial management, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of corrugated experience.
• BS or Equivalent Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss of two or more facilities.
• Oversee manufacturing including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control, and meeting budgeted production metrics.
• Manage a direct staff including Site Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Complex Controller, and Sales Manager.
• Drive local sales and customer service, partnering with region sales manager to establish and meet facility sales goals.
• Identify and target market segments and deploy division pricing strategy.
• Engage in strategic planning including business, marketing, and capital planning processes.
• Manage human resources including workforce engagement, diversity, recruiting and hiring, employee and leadership development, and employee labor relations.
• Establish and manage budgets and ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and regulations.
