About The Position
The Complex Financial Instrument (CFI) Valuation Services Experienced Associate plays a crucial role within the RSM Valuation Services Consulting team. This position involves taking substantial responsibility for performing multiple business valuation and financial advisory engagements simultaneously. The associate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging projects that provide exposure to financial analysis, business and financial modeling, forecasting, and valuations focusing on complex financial instruments and derivatives. These instruments include convertible instruments, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, interest rate derivatives, common and preferred stock, private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products. The services provided by the associate are essential for assisting clients with various financial activities, including mergers and acquisitions, venture financing, public offerings (IPOs), taxation planning and compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning. Additionally, the associate will support assurance and tax clients in meeting their valuation needs. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment, all while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.
