About The Position

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Medicaid Health and Resource Branch. This position is responsible for researching, developing, and subsequently implementing a complex care program and serves as the lead case manager. The position will report directly to the executive Director, Medicaid, and Health Services Branch. The position will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the complex care management initiative with support from MHSB and Division leadership. The member population will include significantly complex medical conditions and/or social-economic or mental health co-morbidities. This position will be responsible for managing multiple highly complex cases simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, human services, business, or public administration.
  • Four years’ experience in case management, including complex cases.
  • Knowledge of the principles of case management.
  • Knowledge of the principles and importance of case documentation.
  • Knowledge of program development and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and/or healthcare programs.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
