As a Complex Bridge Engineer and a vital member of our Minnesota team, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex bridge and transportation structure design projects. Bridge types can include segmental post-tensioned, steel-box girders, cable-stayed, arches and trusses. As part of this role you will be involved with our National Complex bridge practice working on projects across the US and overseas that may include design-bid-build and design-build. Work on projects can be performed remotely and under a flexible work-schedule. As part of this role, mentoring will be provided to develop the candidate's technical skills in all areas of bridge design and also provide the candidate with the opportunity to work on bridge projects that can expand on technical knowledge. You'll coordinate design activities and meetings between Jacobs staff and subcontractors, perform quality reviews, prepare budgets and schedules for bridge design tasks. You'll also help train, direct and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff. You will have the opportunity to grow our portfolio of projects with the region.
