Comlux America is a world-class VIP aircraft completion and refurbishment center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Role Description Under close supervision, the Completions Lining Technician assists with the fitting, modification, and installation of aircraft interior lining components including headliners, sidewalls, dados, and related cabin interior panels on VIP aircraft. This role supports interior completion activities while learning proper installation techniques, engineering drawing interpretation, and regulatory compliance requirements associated with aircraft interior modifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of aircraft interior installation experience, preferably within a corporate aviation completions environment.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft interior installation processes related to cabin lining systems.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft interior installation techniques and willingness to develop advanced skills.
  • Willingness to learn and understand Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM) requirements and applicable FAA regulations related to interior installations.
  • Working knowledge of computers and software systems used within the organization.
  • Willingness to learn Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Attendance at a relevant technical or trade school program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn proper techniques for fitting, modifying, and installing fabricated aircraft lining components including headliners, sidewalls, and cabin panels.
  • Interpret material specifications and engineering drawings to ensure installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate and request required materials in a timely manner to maintain continuous workflow and support production schedules.
  • Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed in accordance with the Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM) and other internal and external quality standards.
  • Follow all departmental safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and protective devices.
  • Develop a working knowledge of company installation procedures, process specifications, Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs), and standard work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
