The Completions Coordinator position at GAC Savannah involves leading the day-to-day activities of a Completions shop under minimal supervision. The role requires planning and scheduling workloads to ensure that manpower and materials align with workflow targets. The coordinator will assist the service center in fostering a collaborative team environment and support Gulfstream management in achieving company goals and policies. Compliance with the repair station inspection manual and standard operating procedures is essential.

  • Updates and maintains Job Safe analyst Cards on assigned equipment.
  • Supports supervisor in ensuring all department work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality and quantity requirements.
  • Fully supports corporate safety, FOD, and 5S programs.
  • Assists the team to achieve milestone dates and meet goals through proficient hands-on work and guidance.
  • Ensures all required paperwork and documentation are accomplished.
  • Ensures design and engineering drawings are used and followed.
  • Accomplishes weekly safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits.
  • Leads or serves on Lean and Quality Improvement teams.
  • Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and housekeeping policies.
  • Leads efforts to continuously improve existing processes and procedures using Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • May include flight tests on aircraft as required.
  • Sets standards for professionalism, communication, team building, and recognition of team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of previous aircraft upholstery experience.
  • Proficient in aircraft carpet installation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and FAA/GAC specifications.
  • Fully capable in artisan skills within the department.
  • Knowledgeable in the safe operation of all shop equipment and hand tools.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull and install 30-50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to wear all required safety equipment and perform physical tasks such as walking, sitting, standing, climbing, crawling, twisting, bending, and working in confined areas.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.
  • Airframe and/or Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate.
