About The Position

As a FACO Supervisor at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you'll lead a skilled team responsible for the Final Assembly & Check Out of Block 70 F-16 Aircraft. Leveraging your expertise in aerospace manufacturing and maintenance methodologies, you'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of the FACO build area. Requirements

  • 8 years Aircraft Maintenance Experience
  • Candidate must have Associate degree or 6 years Leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise specific aircraft manufacturing areas, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Strategically set priorities and effectively allocate resources to support production schedules, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of skilled Aircraft technicians, conducting regular performance evaluations, identifying development opportunities, and fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, addressing their inquiries, needs, and concerns in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas, leveraging best practices, innovative solutions, and lessons learned to enhance overall performance and productivity.
