About The Position

One part-time Completion/Retention Specialist to improve retention and completion by working directly with students in CTE programs in the Liberal Arts school to develop educational plans and a path to completion, conduct on-going outreach, connection to resources as needed, and student follow-up while enrolled. The Completion/Retention Specialist will monitor student progress, and report outcomes. This position supports meeting the retention and completion goals in Liberal Arts CTE programs.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree required
• Minimum of two years of experience in Higher Education
• Experience with computers and software applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access andOutlook)
• Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard)
• Software Systems used in Higher Education Management
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and exercise sound judgment in performance of assigned duties
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
