Delivers quality health care to patients in their homes and in an inpatient setting with emphasis on the provision of complementary therapies to hospice palliative care patients and their families. Requirements

  • Certification in complementary therapy (massage, reflexology, healing touch, yoga, aromatherapy or other complementary-related therapy).
  • Minimum of 1 year complimentary therapy experience
  • Demonstrated professional, empathetic, open, and responsive communication, actively listens, provides a meaningful presence, and exhibits a non-judgmental approach in the care of patients and families.
  • Demonstrates cultural competence by respecting and honoring the unique diversity and characteristics of patients, families and colleagues.
  • Understands and complies with all local, federal, and regulatory requirements
  • Current licensure in state of practice
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • preferably working with palliative/hospice population

Responsibilities
