The Principal Product Marketing Manager at Carta will focus on Competitive Intelligence, working to own competitive analysis for the Carta competitor set. This role involves anticipating and communicating changes in the competitive landscape, integrating a wide range of competitive data points and complex market landscape to build crisp competitive messaging and content to help Carta win in the market. The successful candidate will leverage their strong skillset in product analysis, strategy, product marketing, and sales support to produce competitive research, writing, positioning, data analysis, and operational support, determining optimized channels and formats for distribution. They will partner with peers in Product Marketing to infuse competitive positioning into product launches and sustaining motions, work with GTM/Enablement to build effective competitive sales strategies, and develop optimized assets including product demonstrations, collateral, and comparative positioning on marketing surfaces. The role also involves strengthening value propositions and differentiation, engaging directly with customers to understand and synthesize competitive positioning, leveraging external market data to identify opportunities, and supporting the delivery of regular insights for company-wide briefings and department-specific updates.
