About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Compensation Specialist (Senior or Lead) to join the Variable Compensation team within the Global Compensation organization. This role involves contributing to and leading compensation projects related to incentive plans and annual compensation review. It offers an opportunity to collaborate across Boeing and develop innovative compensation programs aimed at attracting and retaining talent. The position offers flexibility to be based out of various locations including Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Renton, WA; Bellevue, WA; Arlington, VA; Herndon, VA; Mesa, AZ; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Chicago, IL; North Charleston, SC; Charleston, SC; Huntington Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; El Segundo, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; San Antonio, TX; Huntsville, AL or Ridley Park, PA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Human Resources and/or Compensation
  • 3+ years of experience with incentive and/or special pay program design
  • 3+ years of experience developing data analytics methods to solve complex problems

Nice To Haves

  • Possess one or more of the following certifications: World at Work, SHRM, PHR, or SPHR
  • 10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the development, communication, facilitation, or support of compensation or rewards programs
  • 1+ years of experience with the Workday HR Management System

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to consult on compensation strategy and design including incentive plans design
  • Conduct benchmarking
  • Analyze metrics and consult on incentive design (market comparison, cost commitment, and annual spend)
  • Responsible for partnering with other stakeholders to critically evaluate compensation programs to improve business results and recommending plan revisions
  • Participate in the design and development of annual incentive plans during Boeing’s annual compensation review
