About The Position

The Compensation Specialist Staff at Lockheed Martin is responsible for analyzing market data and developing competitive compensation models that align with business objectives. Requirements

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience with compensation survey platforms (e.g., Mercer, Radford).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance regulations, and compensation frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market data and conduct comprehensive market research and benchmarking to stay informed about industry compensation trends.

  • Create compensation forecasts to assess the financial implications of proposed salary adjustments or new compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing compensation programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date salary structures, job grades, and pay scales that reflect market dynamics and internal equity.
  • Communicate compensation programs and changes effectively across the organization, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  • Use insights and analytics to inform business decisions, identify trends, and drive strategic conversations with stakeholders.
