About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Manager to oversee and administer compensation programs across 130 terminal locations. This role is responsible for managing pay structures, ensuring accurate application of automated pay increases, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and compensation strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, HRIS, or payroll administration
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud (HCM preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage large data sets across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state operations
  • Experience working with automated pay adjustment systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain compensation structures and pay scales across 134 terminal locations
  • Oversee and review weekly automated pay increases to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Audit compensation data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and operational leadership to ensure consistent compensation practices
  • Maintain data integrity within Oracle Cloud and related HRIS systems
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and compensation analyses using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools
  • Support annual compensation planning cycles, merit processes, and market reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable wage and hour regulations
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in compensation administration
