We are seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Total Rewards team. Reporting to the Director, Compensation, this role will support the design, administration, and analytics of our compensation programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related roles.
  • Experience administering merit cycles, incentive plans, and salary planning processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of compensation concepts (base pay, pay grades, market pricing, job evaluation, incentive plans, equity, pay equity).
  • Proficiency with HRIS/Compensation tools.
  • Advanced / expert Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivots, dashboards).

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, WorldatWork CCP/CBP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop or revise compensation policies and governance frameworks.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions, job families, and leveling schemas in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HRBP teams.
  • Maintain and administer base salary structures, job families, pay grades, salary ranges, and market positioning.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of global compensation programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay equity laws, local labor laws).
  • Conduct market pricing, job evaluation, and benchmarking using reputable market data sources.
  • Analyze compensation data to provide insights and recommendations for salary ranges, new hire offers, promotions, and annual merit actions.
  • Support global compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Radford) and reconcile results with internal structures.
  • Participate in annual performance review cycles, merit salary increases, and bonus plan administration.
  • Develop and maintain incentive plan documentation, eligibility rules, and payout calculations.
  • Maintain accurate compensation data in the HRIS and/or compensation management system.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports (salary grade utilization, pay gaps, compression issues, turnover by pay grade).
  • Ensure data quality and respond to internal client requests with clear insights.
  • Support internal and external pay equity analyses; identify risks and partner with HRBPs to address gaps.
  • Prepare participation in audits and respond to compensation-related inquiries.
  • Participate in compensation-related projects (e.g., global pay structure redesign, market data analysis, system implementations).
  • Advise HRBPs and managers on compensation decisions and policy interpretations.
