Why this role This role is a hands-on Compensation & Benefits Specialist responsible for administering and improving core total rewards programs. You will manage end-to-end operations while contributing to strategic initiatives in compensation and benefits. This role partners cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, People Ops, and external vendors to ensure programs are accurate, equitable, and clearly communicated to employees. This is an operational and strategic role where you’ll partner with Payroll, Finance, People Ops, and vendors to ensure programs are accurate, fair, and clearly understood.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or People Operations.
  • HRIS experience required; Rippling experience preferred.
  • Experience partnering with Payroll, Finance, vendors, and external providers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; professional certifications (CCP, CEBS, PHR/SPHR) a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear, professional, and empathetic communication skills.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and adjusting quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance job architecture, ensuring internal alignment and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and pricing analysis for entry- to mid-level roles; provide insights that inform compensation decisions.
  • Support sales compensation administration and fairness reviews, from calculation to communication.
  • Assist with training and communications around compensation programs and job architecture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and employee understanding; recommend enhancements to policies where appropriate.
  • Provide employee-facing support for benefits inquiries and open enrollment.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards.
  • Maintain and audit benefits data in HRIS to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Own end-to-end program execution for comp and benefits, ensuring accurate administration and alignment with company policies.
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and vendors on program implementation and reporting.
  • Contribute to audits, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance Total Rewards operations.
