About The Position

Assist in development and execution of company's compensation strategy, including base salary, bonus, and long-term incentives. Conduct market research and benchmarking analyses to ensure competitive compensation practices, and provide recommendations on compensation trends, best practices, and industry standards. Support annual compensation planning process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting findings to Executive Team and Board of Directors. Partner with People and Finance teams to prepare accurate compensation budgets and forecasts, and ensure timely processing of equity grants, vesting, and exercise activities. Collaborate closely with Talent Team and senior leaders to ensure alignment between compensation and performance management processes. Interface directly with leaders of business to advise on key decisions, process milestones and developments in broader market related to compensation. Responsible for all compensation related employee communications, including FAQs. Develop and deliver communication materials and educational content for employees on compensation and equity programs, including developing offer letters, equity plan documents, participant guides, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field of study and 2 years of experience in compensation analysis and strategy at an asset management organization.
  • collecting, analyzing, and interpreting compensation data and market trends.
  • compensation benchmarking tools.
  • using Excel to write formulas to analyze large data sets, including vlookup and nested if-statements.
  • presenting plan concepts, ideas and plans to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Workday HCM or similar HRIS system.
  • working with long-term incentives and deferred compensation related to fund performance.
  • benchmarking investment-related jobs (such as private equity investors, hedge fund portfolio managers, etc.)
