About The Position

Join our compensation team to drive compensation strategy and execution for select clients! This is a great opportunity for you to evolve your professional and technical skills with mentorship, training and plenty of hands-on experience. As a Compensation Associate within JPMorganChase, you will provide strategic solutions and expert advice to business leaders and HR business advisors; combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business needs, market and regulatory landscape, and associated detailed analysis/models. In this role, you will perform a variety of compensation activities, including providing guidance to line and HR management regarding compensation actions for employees, administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes, and analyzing and reporting internal and external market compensation data.

  • Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting end-to-end annual compensation planning via analytics, modelling and reporting
  • Working with teams across many different areas of HR and the business, offering a huge range of skillsets, leadership styles and opportunities to learn
  • Understanding business priorities and effectively diagnosing issues; providing clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound comp-related decisions
  • Simplifying and improving the way we do things with fresh ideas, strategy, design iteration and implementation to ensure our compensation programs, policies and processes align with business strategy, best practice and our risk and controls framework
  • Advising on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention
  • Participating in firmwide projects involving compensation, including policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and systems development
  • Being part of a global team representing diversity of thought, experience and backgrounds who are friendly, committed, hard-working and growth oriented.
