About The Position

The Compensation and Benefits Manager at Telhio Credit Union will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's total rewards programs. This position is essential for ensuring that the compensation and benefits offered align with the strategic objectives of the organization while also supporting employee engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and HR technology, along with the analytical skills necessary to assess market trends and data to maintain competitive and compliant programs. In this role, the Total Rewards leader will be responsible for the comprehensive management of compensation programs, including base pay and variable pay structures, incentive pay, and bonus program design. The manager will conduct job evaluations, monitor compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and oversee the annual and semiannual salary planning processes in collaboration with finance and other leadership. Additionally, the role involves managing external compensation surveys and vendor relationships to ensure the organization remains competitive in its compensation offerings. On the benefits side, the Compensation and Benefits Manager will communicate and oversee the administration of various employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and staying updated on relevant legislation. This includes managing relationships with benefits consultants and brokers to provide a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that meets the needs of employees. The manager will also be responsible for the administration of the HRIS system, ensuring that payroll, timekeeping, and other HR functions are effectively managed and compliant with data protection regulations. Overall, this position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate a dynamic work environment while managing multiple priorities. The Compensation and Benefits Manager will also have the opportunity to lead special projects and initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience at Telhio Credit Union.
