Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of human resources experience, with a focus on compensation preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate complex data in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfort in leading meetings and presenting to both small and large groups.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Implement Compensation Strategies - Support the development of compensation programs, including salary structures, market forecasting, and large-scale job or salary adjustments based on business needs and market trends.
  • Job Evaluations & Salary Assessments - Analyze job descriptions for accuracy, assign salary grades, determine FLSA status, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition - Advise recruiters on competitive salary offers and ensure compensation aligns with company policies and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Develop and deliver business reports and metrics that support compensation and HR initiatives.
  • Compensation & HR Support - Serve as a key resource for internal teams, providing expert guidance on compensation-related inquiries.
  • Compliance & Policy Interpretation - Stay up to date on federal and state compensation regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Market Research & Surveys - Participate in salary surveys, analyze data, and provide insights to maintain competitive pay practices.
  • Training & Communication - Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and presentations to educate leaders and employees on compensation policies.
  • Process Improvement - Recommend and implement improvements to compensation and HR business processes.
