About The Position

The Compensation Analyst role at Shutterfly is a contract position aimed at supporting the compensation team during the annual compensation cycle for the first part of 2025. The analyst will be responsible for various tasks including configuration support for the compensation planning tool, data preparation, eligibility reviews, and user acceptance testing. Additionally, the role involves administration of compensation cycles, market analysis for various locations, and ensuring effective communication with HR business partners.

Requirements

  • Experience with compensation planning tools, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in data.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing and managing testing sessions.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with HR business partners.

  • Experience in market analysis for compensation.
  • Familiarity with LTIP vesting and payout processes.

Responsibilities

  • Configuration support for the compensation planning tool (SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Prepare data files, review and audit eligibility, and develop required reports.
  • Review and update the eligibility matrix for different compensation programs (Merit, Incentive, LTIP).
  • Troubleshoot eligibility issues and partner with HRIS to resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate HRBP access to the sandbox environment.
  • Coordinate and guide testing sessions with HRBPs and document findings.
  • Perform daily updates and audit data within the compensation tool while the cycle is open.
  • Create and maintain a tracker for exclusions and inclusions.
  • Serve as a tier 1 resource for HRBP questions related to programs, eligibility, and the tool, escalating as needed.
  • Assist with the closing of the compensation tool, reviewing pay changes for irregularities and coordinating with HRBPs for clarification.
  • Create pay change import files for Payroll, SAP, and E*Trade for new LTIP grants.
  • Administer the LTIP vesting and payout process, including creating and auditing import files.
  • Partner with HR Ops to develop and execute mail merges for employee communication.
  • Conduct market analysis for Lifetouch host and studio locations.
