About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Compensation Advisor to join our team of Compensation Partner supporting a dynamic and fast paced organization. Reporting to the Compensation Manager, this position will be responsible for serving as an advisor and consultant to the business on compensation programs, policies and practices. The Compensation Partner position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provides compensation advice and support to assigned business clients and collaborates with stakeholders in the planning, development, implementation, and management of compensation programs that support and drive the company's business strategy. Provides market intelligence, best practice research, data analysis and consultation to assigned clients to inform solutions, influence decision making and to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. Participates in the development of new compensation programs consistent with organizational strategy and best practices. Develop and deliver training programs, communications, and tools to facilitate the implementation of compensation programs. Prepares and presents summary reports and dashboards of compensation analysis information. Manage the annual merit, bonus and long-term incentive planning process and communication for assigned clients. Evaluates salary actions; determines when a requested exception is appropriate, seeking input from managers on sensitive issues. Ensure programs and practices are in compliance with all organizational policies and practices, as well as state and federal regulations. Identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and practices. Mains the accuracy of all job data in the HRIS and market pricing systems. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of applicable experience 0r 3 years with Masters degree.
  • 9+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in compensation consulting or providing consultative advice to a segment of an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
