Requirements

  • Eight years related work experience, with at least five years of Compensation experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • CCP or previous Compensation Consulting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience designing talent strategies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the subject matter expert for enterprise-wide programs and initiatives to senior leaders. Develops compensation solutions that are aligned with talent strategies, emphasizing external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Researches external industry, market, and general competitive trends and disseminates relevant information to the team. Incorporates best practices that are aligned with enterprise human capital strategies.
  • Partners with senior leaders to develop and implement compensation strategies and programs that align Vanguard's total rewards philosophy with business needs.
  • Advises and consults with team members, HR Business Partners, and other HR departments on compensation strategies and programs for successful change management, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Provides leadership and expertise to highly complex analyses and talent scenarios. Supports diagnostics of human capital issues, providing perspective where compensation may or may not solve the root-cause.
  • Coaches and contributes to the development of compensation analysts and consultants.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
