The qualified applicant will perform selected quality control testing activities, dependent upon assigned area, including the following: Responsible for conducting in process and finished product testing according to standard operating procedures. Completes appropriate documentation supporting testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, and inventory forms. Enters data evaluated for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities. Calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules. Maintains supply levels to support performance of assigned duties. Reads, understands, and follows SOP's and complies with cGMP's. Applies critical thought to solving problems. Performs laboratory testing as assigned and per schedule.

  • Complete appropriate documentation supporting testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, and inventory forms.

  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain supply levels to support performance of assigned duties.
  • Read, understand, and follow SOP's and comply with cGMP's.
  • Apply critical thought to solving problems.
  • Perform laboratory testing as assigned and per schedule.
  • BS/MS in biological or chemical science (chemistry, or biochemistry, etc.) with at least 2 years of experience in laboratory industry environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to plan and carry out laboratory operations efficiently and effectively, maintaining accurate records of all experiments and data.
  • Hands on experience with any of the following desired: ELISA, uv-visible spectroscopy, compendial testing (e.g. sub-visible particle, pH, osmolality, appearance).
  • Experience with common laboratory equipment desired (pipettes, analytical balances, pH meters, centrifuges).
