About The Position
At Visiting Angels, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to individuals who struggle with activities of daily living. Our mission is to deliver compassionate care consistently while seeking opportunities to improve our services to exceed expectations. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients by providing supportive non-clinical care. The role requires flexibility, as schedules may vary from 2-hour shifts to longer shifts, accommodating clients who require care 24/7. We are looking for adaptable, compassionate, and honest in-home caregivers who are committed to providing the best care possible to seniors and others in need of assistance. In this position, you will assist clients with ambulation and mobility, provide medication reminders, and help with personal care and hygiene. You will also prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions, provide transportation to and from shops, pharmacies, or appointments, and perform light housekeeping duties. Being a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion is essential to this role, as you will be interacting closely with clients and their families.
