About The Position

Visiting Angels Upland is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers for non-medical in-home care. This part-time role offers flexible daytime shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients in the Inland Empire.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid California driver's license
• A reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance where you must be listed as an insured driver
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and screening of your driving record
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) - if not registered, assistance will be provided
• Proof of negative TB test - if needed, the company will pay for it
• Physical ability to perform the duties required of the role
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Two professional, work-related references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities (if required)
