About The Position

Visiting Angels is looking for wonderful Caregivers in the Coatesville, PA area to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
Two (2) years of professional work as a DC, HHA, PCA, CNA, and/or DSP preferred.
Completed or ability to complete a TB test (2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON or chest x-ray)
Compassion and love for the senior community.

Dementia and Hospice care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed.
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications.
Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs.
Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
