About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Caregiver/Companion to support a female client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on assistance and supervision to ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

The client uses a walker for mobility and has Alzheimer’s disease, requiring consistent supervision as she may wander and cannot be left alone.

Requirements

• Experience working with clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred
• Must be patient, attentive, and dependable
• Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and caregiving skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and walking using a walker
• Provide supervision and ensure client safety at all times
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, etc.)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
