Compassionate and Effective CNA/Very Experienced PCA
About The Position
Always Best Care of Fairfax provides personalized, client-centered care to individuals across Northern Virginia. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced CNA or PCA to support a valued recovering client in Herndon, VA. This part-time role offers a consistent weekly schedule and the opportunity to build a trusted relationship with a client who values companionship and quality care. As an Always Best Care of Fairfax Care Professional, you’ll play a vital role in supporting daily living activities and enhancing the client’s overall well-being. This includes both personal care and supportive tasks such as transportation, companionship, and light housekeeping. Occasional outings to physical therapy, doctor's appointments, and errands are part of the routine, so a reliable vehicle and driving comfort are essential.
Requirements
- CNA license or PCA certificate (preferred)
- Experience supporting clients who are fall risks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to detail
Responsibilities
- Assist with ADLs and IADLs
- Must be able to transfer 200 lbs.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report changes in client’s condition or behavior
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
