About The Position

As a Company Planner at Rue Gilt Groupe, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of merchandise planning and inventory management across multiple categories. This position requires a strategic mindset, as you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive merchandise financial plans that include budgets, sales forecasts, and inventory targets for various departments. You will work closely with merchandise partners and cross-functional teams to leverage data analysis, optimize inventory levels, maximize sales, and achieve financial objectives. Your responsibilities will include driving and optimizing the in-season Open-to-Buy (OTB) process to enhance profitability, establishing financial strategies that align with overall business objectives and market trends, and utilizing advanced forecasting methodologies to project future sales and inventory needs. You will also be accountable for organizing and prioritizing your workload, as well as that of your direct reports, to ensure timeliness and accuracy in all planning activities. In this leadership role, you will foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the merchandise planning team, actively participate in self-development, and contribute to building a planning team capable of identifying strategies supported by sound financial plans. Effective communication is key, as you will need to build and maintain relationships with various teams, influence decisions, and present solid business cases to support your strategies.
