About The Position
The Corp. AC Supervisor Company Payables at USI Holdings Corporation is responsible for overseeing the work product and managing the performance of a team of accountants. This role is crucial in ensuring that the department meets and exceeds quality standards in handling company payables. The supervisor will oversee the work product for a team of employees, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met and exceeded. This includes oversight of company payables for assigned divisions, which requires a keen understanding of the processes and policies involved in accounts payable management. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, the supervisor will have management responsibilities for the assigned team. This includes handling PTO requests, approving time cards, and conducting regular meetings with employees to discuss performance and departmental goals. The supervisor will also be responsible for identifying areas of performance management and coordinating with the Accounts Payable (AP) manager to implement necessary actions. Performance management will be tracked through monthly scorecard calculations and quarterly reviews, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's objectives. The supervisor will conduct monthly team meetings to ensure that departmental goals are met and exceeded. Training new employees on company payables procedures and policies is also a key responsibility, as is acting as an expert resource for the team on company payables matters. The supervisor will be responsible for reviewing and approving monthly reporting, which includes company reconciliations, before submitting it to the AP Manager for final review. Additionally, the supervisor will serve as the primary contact for field personnel in assigned regions, responding to client needs within 24 hours to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
